On March 8, 2023, the winners of the Artdocfest/Riga International Documentary Film festival were announced at the closing ceremony. The festival's jury evaluated more than 30 documentaries in two competition programs - Baltic Focus and Artdocfest Open. Two belarusians are among the winners.

The jury of the "Artdocfest Open" program awarded the "Best Director" prize to Sasha Kulak for the film "A Horse-Sized Hawk" for "an open and conscious way of working by the director in creating a film on a previously unknown psychological territory".

The "Best Director" award in the "Baltic Focus" program was awarded to Max Golomidov for the film "Yoyogi", noting the director's ability to "patiently observe the diverse wonders of the world and watch them in the enclosed space of the park". One of the film's producers was the organizer of "Northern Lights" film festival Volia Chajkouskaya.
