We are excited to announce the second BarCamp, a unique unconference that will bring together Belarusian filmmakers of various levels and specializations from around the world. The event will take place from October 7 to 10, 2024, in Germany. Continuing the tradition, it promises to be one of the most significant events in the world of Belarusian cinema in recent years.

Format and Program of the Event

BarCamp is an unconference format that allows for free choice and active participation from all attendees. Participants set the program themselves: they propose discussion topics, conduct sessions, and present films and projects, creating a unique platform for exchanging experiences and ideas, as well as finding new partners and support for their projects.

Over the course of three days, attendees will enjoy engaging discussions, masterclasses from leading industry specialists, premieres, and much more. A special and closing highlight of the program will be an excursion to Studio Babelsberg AG, one of the oldest and once one of the largest and most influential film studios in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to delve into the history of global cinema and find inspiration for contemporary filmmaking.

How to Participate?

To become part of this unique event, you must submit an application by August 25, 2024.

After a professional selection process, BFN will do everything possible to provide visa support and cover accommodation, meals, and transportation costs for participants from Belarus and other countries.

The selection results will be announced no later than August 30, 2024.
