The Belarusian Filmmakers' Network (BFN) is proud to announce the official launch of its micro-budget film incubator. The main aim of the project is to facilitate the development of new Belarusian cinema. The incubator will give five young filmmakers, both from Belarus and abroad, the possibility to hone their skills and work on screenplays for their debut feature films. Out of these five, two outstanding filmmakers will be selected to receive micro-budget financing for their projects.

Currently, Belarusian filmmakers can't rely on substantial funding or traditional studio production methods. However, this obstacle should not hinder their ability to create films. Contemporary technology enables filmmakers to produce movies with minimal resources. The incubator's objective is to assist in generating opportunities for filmmakers and presenting their visions to a wider audience.

Designed for auteur cinema, the incubator consists of several stages, including the screenwriting lab, filming, post production, and festival promotion.
